I keep hearing that Iran’s is building it’s self as a nuclear state for Medical Research. I don’t know how those two are connected. Do you need to refine radioactive isotopes for certain types of radiation treatments or to build certain equipment?

High doses of radiation are required for the creation of superheroes in a laboratory. you can’t just take a lump of plutonium and put it in someone’s mouth, unless you want Elephantiasis Man.

Medical Isotopes are needed for medical imaging and to treat some cancers. When a Canadian reactor shut down, there was a global shortage of medical isotopes.
